Refund & return policy

Scly subscription refunds and merchant product returns are different.

1. What this covers

This policy covers fees for Scly’s software service. Scly is not the seller of products in a merchant’s Shopify store. Physical product returns, delivery claims and merchandise refunds follow the merchant’s own policy and applicable law. Do not copy this policy into a merchant storefront as its product return policy. No commercial Scly refund rules have yet been approved.

2. Proposed business refund terms — requires approval

Proposal: a first-time monthly customer may request a refund of the initial Scly subscription fee within seven calendar days of purchase. This goodwill offer would exclude separately approved external ad spend, third-party charges and usage-credit purchases, except where a refund is required by law or explicitly promised. Renewal refunds and unused credits remain to be decided.

Duplicate or incorrect charges must be investigated and corrected. For a material service failure, first offer a reasonable remedy and then assess an appropriate refund or credit for the affected service. Disliking a correctly delivered creative does not automatically establish a service failure, but does not remove any mandatory remedy.

3. How to request

Email team@scly.dev with your account email, order or invoice identifier and the request. Never send full card details or a password. Confirm receipt and explain the decision and any approved amount. Proposal: initiate an approved commercial refund to the original payment method within ten business days; bank processing times may differ. These commercial timings are not active promises until approved and do not override a shorter statutory deadline.

4. Mandatory consumer rights

The initial business-only scope has not yet been approved. If Scly admits consumers, applicable distance-contract withdrawal rights and statutory remedies must be implemented and explained before checkout. EU consumer service contracts generally have a 14-day withdrawal period. Starting a service early requires the relevant express request and information; digital-content exceptions must not be applied indiscriminately to a continuing SaaS service.

Before a consumer release, review the currently applicable national implementation of online withdrawal requirements, supply a withdrawal form and any required online function and acknowledgment. A blanket “no refunds” term or a button accepting general terms cannot waive mandatory rights. The proposed seven-day business goodwill offer is separate from these rights.
